BILLBOARD CHART -- TOP 15 LPs FOR WEEK OF 7/9/16

I bet some of you didn't know that vinyl's growing popularity has led Billboard to once again track the chart positions of vinyl releases every week. Two things jump out from this week's sales chart:

  • Vinyl's comeback isn't being driven by old hippies and baby boomers...the millennials are fully onboard -- as this week's youth-injected chart clearly indicates.
  • Once again, The Beatles and the Beach Boys are duking it out for chart position --just like the old days. (with The Beach Boys maintaining an upper hand for now.)
